The results are in for my survey asking what most people want to do after retirement. Six out of ten chose "travel the country." I know that's what I would choose if time and money were not a concern.
No matter where I am, at home or traveling, I am so encouraged to know that "the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him." II Chron. 16:9

Rats. I missed your survey. When retirement finally rolls around for me, I want to stay home and quilt and stitch and just be quiet.
I am really enjoying your music. It is lovely.
Blessings & joy,
Lea
Hey, neighbor!!!! Thanks for visiting my blog today! I see my friend, Lea, beat me here this morning!
I'm saying, "Rats!!!!", too! My sound isn't working so I can't hear the music!
Isn't the rain just beautiful today? I love listening to it! Almost better than music.
Love that verse you posted. It's so great to know that God is seeking US out long before we are seeking for Him!

I came over from Cora's... it's nice to "meet" you! I enjoyed the music, too!
I missed your survey too!
Time split between the green fields of home and enjoying a beach somewhere is my ideal!
So glad to meet you...I found you thanks to Cora.
I look forward to visiting again!
Blessings,
Pam
I came from Coras blog too. We are retired and when we travel its in our pop up tent trailer. But I enjoy staying home doing crafts, being on the computer, reading books etc.

I thought the picture on this post was an indication of where most people would go when they retire. I live in Western North Carolina, and the picture reminded me of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this is my first time to your blog, I was intrigued by your comment at the old potting shed, we are just now planting crops, and you are already harvesting, that is a bonus of the Florida life.
